The Firm
Well…
Let us guess that you didn’t get to our site because everything is going well in your life. We know that most people would rather have multiple root canal surgeries than have to call or meet with a lawyer. We get that, and so we built our practice over the last 20 years by gently guiding our clients through what can be a really awful process. If you’re facing criminal charges, or you have been injured, are being sued, losing your house, or just have questions that you need answered, you’ve come to the right place. Even if you aren’t quite sure what your questions are, we can help you to figure out:

- if we can help you
- if you want us to help you
- if you like us
- if you trust us to help you
It has to be a good fit, sort of a two-way interview, but we really believe that you’ll be pleased with your experience here. You’ll be treated with dignity and respect, and please be assured that whatever you’re facing we've probably seen or heard it before. No moral judgments here, just us trying to help you through what can be an awfully frightening and confusing process.
Painless. We promise. And no charge ever to come in and meet with one of us or to chat with one of us on the phone. Did we mention “ever?" This isn’t some “advantage” nonsense as some TV lawyers try to claim. We don’t charge for meeting with you because we don’t think it’s fair to take money for figuring out if we can help you or if you want us to help you.
So please, try to ignore all of your ideas about what lawyers are like - your ideas are probably right but you’ll find us to be very different. If you’re still not sure, then try this - consult with one of us after you’ve consulted with other lawyers. Just don’t sign or pay your hard-earned money until you meet us. Oddly, we find that members of our own profession are often our best source of business because so many are hung up on formality, legal mumbo-jumbo and lording their knowledge over clients. They’ve lost, somewhere along their way, the ability and desire to connect with and help people who find themselves facing tough times. Not here. Never. We'll quit before we become those lawyers.
